Max Computers offers a 15 days return or exchange warranty and a 1 year manufacturer warranty on most products.
A 15% restocking fee is charged for the return of each non-defective item. Exceptions to these rules exist for certain products and product types and are mentioned under Warranty Exceptions.
Certain items, services, and fees are excluded from any kind of warranty. Read the section on Warranty Exceptions for details. Warranty may be voided under certain conditions. All returns must be in strict accordance with Max Computers Returns Policy rules.
All the special orders required down payments, if any, on cancelled orders are non-refundable. Order Cancellation fees may apply to cancelled orders. Max Computers is not responsible for any damage to any other parts or property, or for personal injury as a result of using any product purchased from Max Computers or as a result of defective products. Contact the product manufacturer for any recourse.
Special warranty rules apply to the following products and product types.
CPUs: All CPUs may not be returned for refund unless they are part of System or Upgrade Packages being returned in their entirety, in which case the warranty rules for Systems or Upgrade Packages, as the case may be, apply. CPUs are warranted for exchange only for 14 days from date of delivery provided Returns Policy rules are followed strictly. Warranty does not cover any physical damage caused by any use of the CPU that falls outside the CPU manufacturer’s designed or intended use of the CPU, and includes, but is not limited to, overclocking of the CPU, use of the CPU without a cooling fan or adequate cooling, or the application of improper voltage to the CPU. Intel and AMD retail boxed CPUs are warranted ONLY through their respective manufacturers.
Memory: Memory products carry a 15-day return-or-exchange warranty and a 1-year manufacturer warranty from the date of purchased. Refunds on memory products are limited to the lower of the purchase price and the current GNS retail price. Physical damage will void all warranty. Warranty will not be honored if Returns Policy rules are not strictly complied with.
LCD Monitors: will exchange for new or provide a full refund within the first 15 days for 17' LCD Monitors with 7 or more dead pixels and 18' LCD monitors with 10 or more dead pixels. Any LCD monitor returns made within 15 days that do not satisfy the dead pixel policy will have a 15% restocking fee, no exceptions. After the first 15 days Max Computers will honor the manufacturers’ warranty and its respective policies.
Software: Software sales are final. Software may not be returned for refund unless it is part of a System or Upgrade Package being returned in its entirety, in which case the warranty rules for Systems or Upgrade Packages, as the case may be, apply. Max Computers does not guarantee compatibility of any software with your hardware, operating system, or any other software. Max Computers does not provide support for third party software.
Systems: Max Computers offers a 15-day return and 1-year parts and labor warranty on all systems built completely by Max Computers. A 25% restocking fee applies to all system returns. Systems, when being returned, must be returned in their entirety. Incomplete returns will not be accepted. Physical damage will void all warranty. Warranty will not be honored if Returns Policy rules are not strictly complied with.
Upgrade Packages: Max Computers offers a 15-day return-or-exchange warranty on all upgrade packages and a 1-year manufacturer warranty on motherboards and heatsink-fan assemblies only. CPUs are not warranted beyond the initial 30-day warranty period. A 20% restocking fee applies to all upgrade package returns. Upgrade packages, when being returned, must be returned in their entirety. Incomplete returns will not be accepted. Physical damage will void all warranty. Warranty will not be honored if Returns Policy rules are not strictly complied with.
Warranty on In-store Installations
In-store installations carry a 30-day parts-and-labor warranty and a 1-year manufacturer warranty on all parts except CPUs. CPUs are warranted for the first 60 days only. Parts may be returned within the first 15 days of purchase and installation. A 20% restocking fee is charged for the return of each non-defective item. Labor fees are non-refundable. Physical damage will void all warranty. Warranty will not be honored if Returns Policy rules are not strictly complied with.
Warranty on Repair and Upgrade Services
- As part of its warranty on repair and upgrade services, Max Computers provides a 30-day warranty on labor on desktop and laptop parts.
- Depending upon the laptop system model and manufacturing date, replacement parts may be new, used, or refurbished.
- A 15% Restocking Fee applies to all non-defective returns.
- Max Computers IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY DATA LOSS. We recommend that customers perform a complete backup prior to handing over their systems for repairs or upgrades.
- Max Computers IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR CUSTOMER ITEMS LEFT WITH Max Computers FOR MORE THAN 90 DAYS AND MAY DISPOSE OF ANY AND ALL SUCH AS the whole sytem.
Warranty will not be granted if Returns Policy rules are not strictly followed. Physical damage of product(s) will void all warranty. Warranty will also be voided if any Max Computers or manufacturer serial tags, product stickers, seals, or the like, are removed, altered or tampered with. Warranty will also be voided if any mishandling, improper use, or defacing of the product that would normally void the manufacturer’s warranty, has occurred. Improper or inadequate packaging of the product resulting in its damage during shipping when it is returned to Max Computers for RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) purposes will also void its warranty.
